Distribution of the 3´-Nucleotidase Activity in Chickin, Gallus Domesticus Tissues

Abstract
|

|
|
3´-Nucleotidase (3´-ribonucleotide phosphohydrolase, EC 3.1.3.6) in chickins, Gallus domesticus, tissues has been studied. The activity of this enzyme has been found in every tissues so examined. Muscle contained the highest activities (expressed as that amount of 1 ?mol of 3´-adenylic acid formed to inorganic phosphate per min under the conditions described below). The lowest activity was found in gills, heart, and intestine.
